Burton is a native Oregonian who’s lived there all his life. He has worked primarily in IT after earning a degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon in 2001, though he took time to earn an MBA from Willamette University, graduating in 2008.
Burton describes himself as a “social liberal, fiscal conservative”. He attempts to vote based on issues and candidate, not by party or tie color. He harbors a general distrust of the government and politicians, yet remains paradoxically optimistic about human nature. He believes in equal rights for all, freedom of choice in almost every arena, and moderately regulated markets.
Brett has a Ph.D in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon. He is currently a professor, living in Kansas.
Brett is not a fan of big government and, for that reason, leans toward the Republican party. He is a self-described “issue voter”.
